About to place the order for my sister's cake.
She's team green so I could write something about that theme (theme is 'green' (team green & earth friendly) but I'm thinking of going with 'welcome baby (last name)'. Or a back up is 'Congrats (parent's names).'

On my cake it said, "Sent from heaven, up above, a little boy for you to love!" You could use baby instead of the sex. I got the quote off Dumbo. Lol.

Nothing was written on the cake.
It was a vanilla cake with white icing, a blue ribbon around it and fondant icing baby decorations on the top (booties, pushchairs, bottles etc) which were all blue.

My cake said, "Bundle of Joy..." with baby spelled out in blocks. Now that I look back on it, the cake was kind of weird but delicious. My sister's cake mentioned it's a girl and a beginning of a new chapter for the parents (book themed shower). I would personally prefer welcome baby (last name).

Personally, I don't always like "Welcome Baby ...." unless its a sprinkle after the baby has been born.
What about "Best Wishes (Mom Name) and Baby"

I didn't have a cake (my mom made petit fours). But my suggestion would be congrats to the mom/couple

@T.H.O.U.: Yeah, I can see how it would be more appropriate for after the baby is born.
I want to include my BIL's name. Can it say 'Best wishes (mom & dad's name)? It's a co shower so my BIL will be there.

Nothing. We're doing a woodland critters nursery so they did that on the cake as well.
