If your LO had a birthday recently or has one coming up, was there a theme to it? Our lo is having a backyard party and we made it into an Under the Sea party so a lot of her gifts for her birthday have become mermaid themed!

Last year: Playground party
This year: cake and a balloon (I'm going to be 1000 weeks pregnant) or we might do a zoo party.
Next year: I plan to do some kind of art party.

Honestly, I don't usually do themes and my kids are young enough that they haven't asked for them yet. 
But, we're having DS2's 1st birthday party this year and I've decided that the theme is going to be sprinkles. I don't usually do a lot with decor and focus mainly on the food so there will be many desserts with sprinkles.

Nothing! (We just went out to brunch with family, then opened presents back at the house afterwards, so no theme)
This year, I will let her pick but I bet it will be either Minnie Mouse or Sofia the First. Yick.

I was hoping to do a fairy theme this year as our garden is perfect for it and I had so many fun ideas I wanted to try. Alas, DD's birthday is one day before my due date (her party is ten days later) so I will either be massively overdue or have a brand new baby, and realistically, I'm not going to pull it all off.
DD is obsessed with horses and My Little Pony, so when she saw some MLP party supplies a couple of weeks ago and her eyes about popped out of her head with excitement, I saw my easy out for this year. MLP party for the win. We'll do a fairy party next year!

This year, his theme is airplanes. He's been asking for that for the last 4 months and hasn't changed his mind, so airplanes it is. I'll be 35w pregnant so I hope I can be cool with not Pinteresting the entire party

LO will be two and is obsessed with the moon and balloons, so I'm doing a moon/stars theme for her (with lots of star balloons!).
I'll be 37w pregnant then (end of July) so trying to get any/all decor sorted out now and make things easy for food by having it all be stuff we can order and pick up.

We have a few months until his first birthday planning gets underway, but I'm thinking of a little whale theme? He absolutely adores the song Baby Beluga by Raffi! Haha!

Last year was balloons- she was just turning one and it was a ton of fun decorating with balloons everywhere.
I think this year I'll do a zoo theme. While I still get to choose I like to pick things that will be fun to decorate for but still is an interest of hers.

Last year we didn't really have a theme other than breakfast food. This year we're going all out. I've been planning for awhile.

I think we'll do a very loose theme of strawberries for my daughter's first birthday in August. Strawberries have always been her absolute favorite food.

Her first was Groundhog day themed. Which was hard. But her Birthday (And mine too actually) is on Groundhog Day. So it was all Groundhog themed.
Her second was Elmo. She was obsessed with Elmo at the time.
Her third we didn't get the chance to do one. I had her Godmother up visiting and we just had so many plans we took her to the Children's museum and did a small family one.
I think her next will be Ariel/ or just Disney Princess's in general.
