I put R down last night so I could change my clothes and use the bathroom. She immediately started rolling around on the floor (with a pouch in her mouth), crying and kicking her feet. Fun times!

Similar! I made him sit down to play with his toys, and he flipped out and started sobbing.

It almost always involves putting him down so I can actually use my hands. Second runner up is telling him "no, you can't have my ipad/iphone"

This morning, it was screaming and big crocodile tears because I wouldn't let her hold her clothes (she was still in her PJs, but wanted to carry around the clothes I was going to change her into) while eating breakfast. Sigh.

DH wouldnt give her the entire pack of crayons so that she could scribble all over the counter and she tried to hit him, and she burst into tears.

This morning. Meltdown because I wouldn't let her rinse her toothbrush in the toilet bowl. So mean.

Not really a tantrum but she cries pretty hard each night after I'm done giving her the antibiotic for her ear infection (she was PISSED last night!). She loves the way it tastes and wants more. Crazy girl!

@lawbee11: OMG, DD does this with the children's motrin! She is sooooooo annoyed when it's gone.

Around 3 am C woke up and insisted he pee in the potty in the master bathroom. Huge meltdown as DH tried to get him to pee in his bathroom. Finally gave up and took him into the master bathroom just so we could all go back to sleep.

"I want a bigger biiiite!" ( of cereal on her spoon. She couldn't get enough on there for her taste.) Then it segwayed into a tantrum about what to wear.
It was this 7 am-8:30 am this morning and it was epic. You would think that at almost four, she'd be more in control than this!

I had the nerve to take away the bottle of water he was playing with, in order to brush his teeth before bed. I am a terrible and mean person.

A toy unicorn that her little sister was chewing on.

I woke him up after he fell asleep in the stroller so that he would take a nap when we got home. I felt bad, he was obviously tired, but there's no way I was giving up the crib nap for a 20 minute stroller nap!

Last night coming in from outside. I have a feeling it will be a daily thing

She couldn't reach my bandaid. She wanted to pull my hair. She's pretty tired today!

Mine cried and threw a fit because I wouldn't let her carry around the potty tray full of poop. I kid you not.

@cmomma17: Yup. My son's meltdowns are ALWAYS over the iPad.
If he sees it - game over.

Because I woke her up and she wasn't done sleeping
I do feel bad about that... poor girl just wanted more sleep! Makes me hate having to go to work even more

@MUI831: hahaha, this cracks me up.
I think our last tantrum was due to me not letting him with the empty glass bottles which sit on the floor so they can go to recycling.

Yeah with M it was putting him down so I could go to the bathroom.
D hasn't had one in so long I can't remember.

I have no idea. She was playing happily then suddenly she swept her toys away furiously and had a meltdown!

@Lindsay05: This is a multiple times a day meltdown in our house right now. It's especially brutal when it rains and we can't go out at all

I wouldn't let her destroy all of the things she could reach at Baby Gap and made her hold my hand. This whole walking baby thing is rough when I want to run errands! She won't sit in her stroller or a cart. Guess I'll be shopping online more often.

@emg86: We had the exact same melt down here today, she wouldn't hold our hands leaving Old Navy and then threw a huge fit about sitting in the stroller during her sisters well baby check-up at the dr.'s. Toddlers...

We came inside!
@Lindsay05: this is us... Every day, usually multile times a day. DS would be outside 24/7 if he could

He wanted to nurse and I was trying to get situated and he bit me and I screamed. He nearly broke the skin. Then he screamed and went full blown tantrum because I wouldn't nurse him right after the bite.

I tried to brush her teeth and then change her into pajamas.

@swedishfish: @yellowbird: we brush his teeth during his bath and he thinks it's the. coolest. thing. ever. But if you come near him with that toothbrush any other time, oh hellllllll no.
