I still need to replace a*hole in my driving lexicon (that's the only time I use that. Same with "f* off" and "f*tard") Rat bastard is also harder to replace.
I DO use bloody.
Also favorites are "Pifflediff!" and "Horse biscuits!" My grandpa used "road apples", but I can't get behind that one.

When I was little I used to say "blank" in the place of any word I wasn't allowed to say.

Mother of Pearl! tends to be my substitute expression Also, I use gosh instead of God (don't want the kids to say it, so we can't say it either!).

p.s. Mother of Pearl is an expression that can be muttered under your breath or shouted in times of exasperation. It is an all-around great phrase

Gosh and darn

Mine are all very cheesy because I'm a teacher and am terrified of slipping up in the classroom if I use anything remotely close to the original.

We're working on substitutes for my husband to use because he's really, really bad about getting frustrated or upset and blurting out GDMF'er and not even realizing it. I'm convinced it will be the first words out of our daughter's mouth.
