DH is very into genealogy and was helping some friends do research for their family tree. The husband and wife did a DNA test and when it came back......... they were cousin matches for each other. They are both Ashkenazi Jews and we all tend to come from the same places in Eastern Europe so when you think about it it's not really that surprising. They aren't first cousins or anything obviously, and they'll probably never be able to find out how they're related because records just don't go back that far. But it's still pretty weird to me.
This is why I told DH that I would never take that DNA test. He's already done it. What would you do if you found out you were related to your DH?
