    I would definitely call and complain. There's no reason that she should have treated you like that.

    Sorry late to the party... that tech sounded like a jerk! I would definitely report the tech. Maybe the tech was having a bad day? Even so... they shouldn't have taken it out on you.

    First, congratulations!!!

    I'm so glad you went ahead and called. Also, speaking as a clinic manager myself, I agree with others that you need to call and relay your experience to someone in charge. It's incredibly, incredibly poor customer service and bad patient care. Think of the impact it had on your experience, and you were there for something happy, think of how horrible she could make it for someone coming in dealing with serious health concerns. Compassion and customer service are 100% part of her job, for all patients and she needs to be held accountable for that.

    And again, congratulations!! Don't let that tech overshadow this fabulous news!

    @jessibear: thank you! that definitely helps and puts it in perspective. i am always worried about being a complainer and seeming annoying and whiny but you're right, we didn't deserve that. and i consider myself a pretty kind person, i definitely wasn't taking my emotions out on her and there was no need for the way she treated me. i don't understand why people who obviously hate people go into that kind of an industry. i'll definitely consider lodging a complaint once i can clear my head a bit about the whole thing! thank you!
