@Cherrybee: Congrats! LOVE that feeling of being a new car owner and getting that new car smell! Minus the paying of course I drive a Mini right now so nothing can possibly be smaller, hopefully haha!

Ya'll are rich!
Haha, if I wrote off my car or something today and had to replace it I'd get whatever I could get for the ~$8000 I'd probably get from insurance. So... like a 2008 Civic or something?? Maybe not even that good.

We are getting a minivan this fall and I CAN'T FREAKING WAIT. I al still undecided on which (used) one we will get but going between Honda Odyssey, Toyota Sienna, and Dodge Caravan/Chrysler Town and Country. I want the most bang for my buck, but it doesn't have to last forever and ever.

Hmm. Well we just got me a Ford Escape like two weeks ago, so if we had to replace DH's Jetta...we'd get another Jetta! I love that car and you can get one for a really good price these days

We just bought a 2013 Hyundai Elantra. I love it.
Our next car will be an SUV. We really like the Honda Pilot and the Subaru Outback.

@pui: This was pretty much my wishlist too and I ended up with a 2010 Ford Edge....I have to admit that I do regret splurging as much as we did. It isn't putting us into bankruptcy, but it is definitely curbing my shopping But then, on a cold day, I don't regret it at all when I climb into my warm car!

Another Subaru! I love our Forester so much! My husband's Jeep is hurting, so I'd love to convince him to get an Impreza or a Crosstrek.

@Beebug: WHAT IS YOUR OBSESSION?!? You *want* a mini van? Not that I'm saying you wouldn't be cool anymore because 1. Your SO cool and 2. Of the van family, HO is killin it.
I'd prob get either a Toyota 4Runner or an Escalade. We are actually getting one of these before LO #2, but gotta get pregnant first!

@CupQuakeWalk: lol, well big SUVs do nothing for me, and if I could get anything it'd be a truck, but given we're going to have 2 kids, and dog, truck wouldn't work regardless, so yah....honest answer it'd be the Odyssey! Me paying for it, lower model, not paying for it.....it'd be fully loaded!

It's my husband's turn to get a new truck later this year. He's been eyeing the Honda Ridgeline, Toyota Tacoma, and Nissan Frontier.
I have a 2011 Kia Sorento, and I love it - no desire to replace it yet.

I'd love to have another older Jeep, but I also love the Jeep Patriot. If I had to get a van, I want the Honda Oddesey.

If I totaled my 2013 CRV, I would hope my car insurance would pay off my CRV loan. If I had to get a new car, I would probably get the same car again. I love it. It's perfect for me.

I love my CR-V, but if I ha to buy a car today I would probably get an Acura MDX because a third row would be handy.

An Acura MDX. I'd love the additional space but probably hate the gas bill!

Assuming it would be DH's car we were replacing (twice the mileage), I'd have to say another Mazda 6. I know he'd love something with more muscle but realistically, mid-range sedan is more economical for his commute.

We just bought a Nissan pathfinder which we love love love. If i had to buy another car tomorrow it would probably be a new honda cr-v to replace Dhs old one

I'd trade in my Mercedes E350 for a GL350. I'm thinking an SUV with all wheel drive would handle much better in the snow than my current car even though I love how it handles. But CA "rain" doesn't compare to MA snow :happy:plus that 3rd row seat could come in handy once we have babies.
