I thought all my babies would have dark brown hair and dark brown eyes.. and when they were born they kinda did.. BUT they are both BLONDE now. They do have caramel brown eyes but completely blonde hair.. and it's curly.. not at all what I imagined.

E has my husbands cowlick but my curls and her hair color is a similar light brownish to either of is. She also got his blue eyes. We are both pale people with light brownish hair so E probably won't look too dramatically different from either of us.

I have medium-ish brown hair and green eyes. My daughter has bright blonde hair and blue eyes. Her dad has red hair and green eyes. We still can't believe our kid looks the way she does!

I don’t think there were any huge surprises for us - dh and I both have blue eyes so fairly likely to get that - but I was surprised his dark hair didn’t show up, they’re all in the sandy blonde range (like me). Maybe when they’re older. And he has super curly hair that shows up a lot in his family and so far only one kid has it, and even that’s more wavy than true curly, no serious curls. Our biggest surprise was that #3 finally got some of the red genes we both have floating around - but still strawberry blonde. Oh and she got super pale pink white skin that none of the rest of us have! I never thought of myself as having yellow undertones or looking that tan until my arm was next to her.

My husband and I both have Scandinavian heritage and similar features, so it's not too much of a surprise what our kids look like. I have green eyes and curly "dishwater" blonde hair (but was white blonde until teens). DH has medium brown straight hair and blue eyes. Both our girls have blue eyes and blonde hair, one fairly curly, one just a hint of a curl. As far as facial features, DD1 is my mini and DD2 is DH's mini. I'm 12 weeks with #3, so I guess we'll have a tie-breaker!

Me and my husband are white and as kids had basically white blond hair. We thought we would have bald babies with hair that eventually was blonde.

Our first had soooo much dark hair. It’s still stupid thick and he has really dark brown eyes. Are next two were bald little blondes though! Haha

My two are chalk and cheese. One is fair and blue eyed, the other dark skin and dark eyes. One from my side, one from hubby's side. I am pregnant with my third girl now and I have a feeling she'll be like hubby too!
