Forgot - I have bought their swimsuits and will probably put them in there. And new undies for my 3 yr old b/c my husband just throws them away when he has a #2 accident.

For her first Easter, we did puffs, pouches (with bunnies on them), books, a new swimsuit and eggs taped shut, filled with noisy things so they became rattles.
This Easter: candy, rollerskates, multi-color tape, a few books, some stickers, gardening gloves, some gardening tools and probably a few other things.

I just ordered a Crayola kit, a window gel cling maker, refill and a set of window markers.
I'll add a bag of M&Ms and call it done.

@SweetiePie: Bath crayons were the worst thing for us...we have a fiberglass tub and those things do not come out, even with scrubbing with magic eraser! So, consider the surface.
We've had good luck with bath paints.

So far I have a new cup, bubbles, a little bunny ball game, and a bathing suit. I think I'll pick up a book, some sandals or crocs to throw in, too. I'll get her cheddar bunnies and the Annie's fruit snacks and that will probably be it. Between Xmas, Valentine's Day and and her bday it's been a constant flood of gifts I feel!

@looch: @SweetiePie: Growing up, I recall my sister and I had a blast playing with a can of our dad's shaving cream in the bathtub. No issues cleaning that up.

@PawPrints: I love that idea, I am going to pick up a can of the foamy stuff next time I am at the store. We still haven't done it, lol.

@PawPrints: @looch: good idea! My son might be too young still since he'd probably try to eat it
But this reminded me that I saw this once.

My son will be 5 months around Easter, so his basket will be mostly items for starting solids (many of which we already have but haven't opened yet). We've also joked about throwing in a bottle of breast milk b/c that'd be the only thing he'd actually know to get excited for!
-spoons
-baby food
-cereal
-mesh feeder
-$1 bunny ears
-book
-chocolate bunny . . . guess we'll have to help him with that one

So far we have one book, a Melissa&Doug Playdoh kit that he specifically asked for, (and maybe a playdoh or 2 to go with it), a thing of Galactic Ooze (I can't stand the stuff but he loves it!), a flying airplane thing DH got for him, and for candy I'm thinking some Cadbury mini eggs and some Jelly Belly. Haven't gotten the candy yet.
