He's getting a book, pajamas, toothbrush & toothpaste, and something else fun. Haven't decided on that yet. I'm trying to stick to he want, need, wear, read idea.

She doesn't yet know she's supposed to ask for anything, lol.
But she'll probably get some curious george books, and something with Strawberry Shortcake on it. We're travelling over the Christmas break, so we're thinking of getting her a tablet for the plane and the long car ride to our final destination.

@anonysquire: I'm not sure yet! We have a baby Stella and the same manufacturer makes doll accessories like a pack n play, a high chair that attaches to a table, a car seat, etc. But I haven't done a ton of research yet. Will let you know.

We're not doing want, need, wear, read, even though I really like that way of limiting gift items, but we are trying to limit the number of gifts to one big "main gift", 3-5 in the stocking, and maybe a few little gifts, plus pajamas on Christmas Eve and an ornament that is wrapped when we decorate the tree. We buy lots of stuff consignment/used/on great sales through the year, so I actually already have a big stockpile of stuff to give her through age 5! If she's not into it when she's those ages, we can always re-sell it or re-donate it and get some other things She'll be 11 months this Christmas and she's getting 2 Little People Sets (she's really into chewing on the people right now and I think they'll grow with her well), a Doc McStuffins ornament (we collect Disney ornaments as a family so we're all getting Disney ornaments), some Christmas pajamas, two stuffed toys we saved from baby shower gifts in her stocking, and a Christmas board book in her stocking.

@swurlygurl: What? Minnie stuff at the dollar store? I need to get there this weekend. All R says is Minnie, Minnie, Minnie.

@Smurfette: Yes!! So much stuff! I got a plastic cup (like, without a lid, so she still has to grow into it), some Minnie Mickey Goofy Donald little action figures, a TON of different stickers and coloring books. Hopefully your store will have it!

@swurlygurl: We are working on a open cup at home, since day care is too, she would love it. Is it Dollar Tree?

@Smurfette: Yep! (Off track, I hate 'dollar' stores where everything isn't a dollar - that just confuses me)

@swurlygurl: Thanks!! But I agree, Dollar General, sucks!

@anonysquire: Nothing. She's 10 months old!
Really though, I kind of dislike the commercial part of Christmas. My husband on the other hand grew up very poor. They were one of the families that other people "adopt" for Christmas. Because of this, we've found a happy medium. Thanks to @youboots: we have a plan: "something you want, something you need, something to wear, and something to read." ... I think we'll do a toy kitchen, a snowsuit, a couple books, and something else fun ... maybe a first bike?

@Vegmama: hey my baby is 7 months and has a little list haha. It's mostly if she is at a friends or grandma's and loves a toy then we need it.
