Two friends gifted us a newborn photo shoot!

I just found out my coworkers are pooling their money to get us a JOGGING STROLLER!!!! Which I am like, eternally grateful for since we had decided not to get one in addition to our regular stroller, even though we both want one and both run. My company sponsors a big 10K every October and people keep asking if I'm planning to run again this year (did it last year 7.5 weeks pregnant, and will have a 5 month old this year!) and have said I would if I could borrow a jogging stroller from someone... so smart of them

I haven't had my shower yet, but I put the Uppababy Vista on my registry not actually expecting anyone to buy it. We were just planning to use the 10% completion discount on it. I was floored when my partner's parents purchased it for us.

A family friend not only got us the crib off our registry (which was way pricey and my in-laws kept saying they'd have to get my parents to help them purchase), but also a crib mattress, an awesome diaper bag (loved that thing), and a BabyBjorn carrier. All totally unexpected, especially when she kept giving us checks and gift cards to Target to use on our newest addition! And that was a year ago.

DH's co-workers threw a shower for him, which we didn't expect. DH's best friend keeps buying gifts for LO, which is really cute because he's a single guy. And my BFF prepared my hospital bag. It was awesome! She got an awesome tote and filled it with socks, big panties, snacks, travel-sized toiletries... The works! It was seriously amazing.

My Aunt bought us the snugabunny swing. It was totally unexpected and we were so excited to receive it!

I had a friend get us our swing - I was SHOCKED, because it was $$$. SO glad we didn't have to buy it!

Some workers went in on a maternity photo shoot, which was awesome because I never would have paid for it myself, but I looove the pictures
