I saw David Byrne (of Talking Heads fame) at a small local theater here about 4 years ago. It was amazing - the songs, the staging, his presence, all in such a small venue - it was hands down the best concert I've ever seen.
Though seeing John Legend in Maui on our honeymoon was a close second, for the same reasons, plus the last song he played was our wedding song.

No Doubt - around 2001. It was my first concert ever and I was right up front in the pit - crazy energy...SO.GOOD. I was hooked!

Billy Joel did a college tour when I was in college and he played at the auditorium of our college for a crowd of like 500. They had a lottery for the tix and I won. It was AMAZING.

I'm not sure I could really narrow it down! I will say that the top two were in 2010. I saw Eli Young Band at the county fair and they were incredible!! I was in the very front row and was listening to their album on repeat at that point. I also saw Hanson that summer and it was so so so good! Could it be that I was waiting since 1997 to see them! 
Seen John Mayer several times, too and am always blown away by him.

The Boss!!!!
I love him, and my friends bought me tickets as a bachelorette present. I went with my best friend this past spring and it was amazing. He played for three hours and rocked so hard! I'm a little in love... I really hope to see him again soon.
I also really like Ani Difranco in concert, and have seen her a couple times.

2002, in my hometown, Red Hot Chili Peppers. They are so amazing live, so high energy, and the setting was just beautiful! It was an outdoor concert, in December, snow was lightly falling, not too cold, and it was just gorgeous! It was a few months after the Olympics were held there, and it was just great energy!

Esthero in Seattle in a small club. I loved how intimate the venue was and I even got to meet her guitarist and chat with him for a bit and get a picture with Esthero herself.

Tough! I go to a lot of shows.... But my fave was a Decemberists concert in Boston.

Okay, this isn't the best concert I've been to, but a random fact: 11 years ago today is when I went to my first Britney Spears concert. Yes, I was 13. Hahaha.
The best concert - This is really hard for me to answer. I've been to so many shows/concerts for years. I can't narrow it down to one. I did enjoy seeing Blink 182, Weezer, Angels and Airwaves, The Sounds, Motion City Soundtrack, Chris Cornell, Linkin Park, Automatic Loveletter. Oh gooness, I could seriously be here for hours. Haha.
