We almost never go to the movies, but in the last two weeks we saw both Neighbors (so funny!) and The Fault in Our Stars. I was a sobbing mess during that movie. @Mrs.ThinMint: Same. I read the book before I was pregnant, and seeing it pregnant gave it a whole new layer of sadness.

The second Hobbit movie last December...
BUT this thread made me really want to go to the movies. The theater that's 5 minutes from our house has $5 movies on Tuesdays so I called my sister and she's going to stay with our LOs tonight after we put them to bed and I'm surprising DH with an impromptu movie date! Yay! We're going to see Neighbors

I think the last movie we saw in theaters was The Lego Movie before LO was born. I really wanted to see Divergent but DS was born the Monday after it came out
We used to see movies a lot in the theater, so waiting for movies we want to see to come out on DVD is killing me...I never realized how long it took! I thought about asking my mom to watch DS while we were visiting last week but it was too crazy with my brother's graduation.

We saw X-men last. Or was it Spider-Man 2. Whichever came out last. These comic book movies all blur together. I fell asleep through part of Captain America.
@Shutterbug: I want to see that, but DH doesn't seem interested. ETA- Whoah! 90% on rotten tomatoes! Makes me want to see it even more. Gotta force the DH to go since he makes me see every.comic.book.movie!
