I am 7 weeks today and nearly threw up opening a box of rubber bands in my classroom today. What the heck?!
Also, all of my scentsy stuff makes me want to vomit.
So, what's the most random thing your pregnancy nose has despised?

Not me, but I ended up with my friend's entire collection of linen scented candles!

Cleaning products for me! Funny thing is DH is on a weird cleaning spree (ant problem) recently which hasn't help but at least our house is clean.
I haven't spelt rubber bands in a while but I bet that would set me off too.

Chicken and maple cookies. A woman I work with was eating them beside me and they smelled awful.

The smell of old paper in my classroom. It made for a loooong nine months
There is actually a bottle of hand lotion that I still can't handle the smell of. Everything else went away after I had the baby.

Not really weird but the smell of garlic and onions was so offensive and usually love both.

@Reese: Oh gosh. The way I read it at first was cookies made with chicken and maple...

Refrigerator smell. Every time someone opened the refrigerator I would vomit. Up until I was 20 weeks or so, I made DH clean all of the food out of the fridge. We lived like frat boys with only drinks and condiments for months.

@Reese: @simplyfelicity: I'm really glad that was clarified, because I was about to ask what on earth a chicken & maple cookie was!? haha
Mine wasn't so random, but gasoline. I couldn't pump my own gas for most of my pregnancy because I'd end up puking. My sweet husband would take the car and fill it up for me!

@Tanjowen: @simplyfelicity: LOL sorry! Exhaustion is my strongest pregnancy symptom

Chimichurri sauce. We spent Christmas with my ILs during my peak morning sickness, and they had this jar of chimichurri sandwich spread that they seemed to put on everything! I swear the smell permeated our bedroom at the other end of the house. I never really liked it before but the smell still turns my stomach since then.

I don't know if it's the toner or what but I can't stand the smell when someone prints a big document at work.

My husband's morning breath. I swear I never noticed it before. Poor guy. He just wants a kiss and I make him pop a breath strip first.

Dish soap was SO BAD. DH's deorderant, paint and english muffins were also super gross.

I normally love ketchup but I could not stand the smell while pregnant. It went away after I had my baby though. It's a fave again!

Vegetables and spices. I couldn't even look at broccoli, walking by a health food store by my office made me gag, and I had to give half a bottle of kimchi to my mom because I didn't want it to go to waste

@simplyfelicity: I hated the smell of eggs when I was pregnant, but the weirdest one was that sometimes the smell of my husband made me queasy! I don't know if it was his deodorant or cologne or what, but I felt like a jerk saying "Don't hug me, I might puke."

Licorice. I skated through pregnancy with zero smell aversions until someone sat down on the train next to me and opened up a packet of black licorice. My stomach instantly lurched, and I jumped out of the seat and ran to the next car. I had to have the conductor go back for my things for me. Luckily, the conductor was a good friend of mine.

Yesterday DH had to have a piece of chocolate and I usually LOVE everything about chocolate. We were in the car and he was eating it and the smell of it completely turned me off!! I had to make him stop eating it and put it away bc I literally felt like I could've vom'ed right then and there.

Cheap chocolate in the plastic packaging (like the store display). And new shoe smell.

I remember hating every single type of hand soap we had in the house. We had to buy grapefruit scented soap and it was the only one I was able to use for the whole pregnancy.
