@MsLipGloss: yeah, I loved getting called by a surveyor who asked me that question. He was like, "that's impossible!" I said "oh no, it's entirely possible! There are 168 hours in a week."

including commute time, DH used to work 55-60 hours regularly a few years back at a different bank.
the most i've ever worked is 45? 50?.... most of those hours at home too.
i make sure to only work 35 hours or less usually. i like being efficient with my time. but only have this flexibility because my job is proj/time management with flex schedule at home.

I've never worked more than 40.
Since we've been married, DH hasn't done more than 55. While we were dating (he had a different boss then) he would regularly be clocking 80+. I'm glad that doesn't happen anymore!
In his industry when they're nearing a deadline, it's normal for them to work 90 - 100+ hour weeks to get the show out on time

My husband regularly worked over 100 hrs a week while in surgery residency.
I worked over 100 hrs a week while on trial, but that was a very rare occurrence.

The most I've ever worked is below 50. DH worked for an advertising agency in a previous life and during the more insane periods he would average 65 hours/week.

I have an amazing job that's a regular 40 hrs/week, with an average of two evening events per month, I'd say.
DH is a consultant and the hours they are expected to work are just revolting. He puts in a minimum of 12 hours a day, usually more, and always on weekends too. Trying to hold out for another year but man, it sucks. Definitely doesn't put him in the mood for baby-making, that's for sure.
