I have a 20 minute drive each way, local or highway.

DH currently has a 20 min drive each way highway one day, then ~45 min drive each way 1-2 times a week. This summer he pretty much will have no commute besides taking meetings, etc.

DH commutes 15 miles each way, by car. It only takes him 20mins or so in the morning because he leaves so early, but it can take 45mins in the evening to get home.

I commute 25 miles each way but on a notoriously bad stretch of motorway. It usually takes me an hour to an hour and a half after I've dropped DD off. On days where she is with her grandparents, drop off is only 10 mins away. On daycare days, I drive 40mins to nursery before I start my hour long commute (8 miles away but awful traffic the entire route). I'm currently travelling once a week to our head office in London, which takes me two and a half hours in total - but I love it because I get to leave the house without DD!

Mines about an hour with drop offs, dHs is 60-90 minutes depends on traffic.

SO's used to be 2-3 hours each day (thank you Silicon Valley), but as of two weeks ago is now either a 25 minute walk or a 5 minute drive. Whoo!

I commute about 25 minutes each way. DH commutes downtown via the train so he's more like 1 hr 15 minutes door to door. He desperately wants to find a job in the burbs so that his commute is less. Maybe some day!

We work at the same company - it's about a 30 minute commute. It's nice to be able to carpool sometimes and have date lunches occasionally.

We both have a 25 minute drive, though DH leaves during rush hour so it takes him about 45 minutes on the way home usually. I used to commute 2 hours each way via public transportation, so this is a dream!

DH is a 10 minute walk, not bad!

Mine is about 35 minutes via public transit, which my employer subsidizes. If I drove it would be like 10 minutes max, but I would be paying $120/month in parking fees. Worth it to me to spend the extra time to save the $$!! Plus I can then read the whole way, which is a nice way to wind down.

My commute is about 25 minutes door to door but I budget 40 in case of bus delays or traffic.

My husband's commute is about 40 minutes, but he had to budget an hour. He takes the same bus as me, but then he has a subway ride too.

Mine would be 10-15 but I drop LO off at daycare. Door to door about 30 mins with drop off. I drive because I have to have to have a car for work. DH's commute is about 45 mins. He drives to a park and ride 10 mins away and then takes a shuttle.

I'm a SAHM so no commute for me, but DH has about 1 hr 15 min door to door commute, which consists of a 5 min drive to the train station, 50 min train ride, 10 minutes on the tube, and then a 10 minute walk to work. He doesn't mind as the train gives him time to read/watch movies/sleep etc!

For me it's 15-20 min but I work all over the place. DH it's 15 min unless there is a train... We love it! And it lets us have one car when we need to (not my favorite but it happens when you have old cars that DH and his family like to fix themselves)

DH works around the corner (less than 5 minute drive, even with 3 traffic lights). My commute is 20-25 minutes without daycare drop-off. It's 40-45 once you add daycare. I do drop-off and DH picks her up.

I'm lucky, my commute is under 5 minutes.

Hubby drives about 20 - 25.

I work from home, no commute for me.

DH works 4 miles from home.

Mine is about 35 minutes without traffic. I work 8-4 and am able to avoid the worst parts of rush hour most of the time.

DH's commute is about 15 minutes but always consistent - he doesn't have to drive on highways or anything. He works way longer hours than I do so it's better for him to have a shorter commute.

about 10 minutes to daycare and then 5 to work, for my husband any where from 1 hour and 15 to an hour and a half each way daily.

Mine is about 40-45 mins by walking/bus and DH's is 35-45 on local roads with traffic.
