DH and I have been tossing around the idea of moving back to our hometown and if we did, we'd be able to afford to build our own house, which would never be possible where we live now.
so that's led to lots of dream house daydreaming. we love bungalow or craftsmen homes. what would your dream house look like?

I'd love a townhouse/condo with two bedrooms, an office and a guest room. Finished basement, laundry room and parking. Plenty of storage. And at least two bathrooms.
Doesn't sound like too much but to find something like that that's affordable around here is basically asking for it to be solid gold as well, haha

I love how bungalows look from the outside. There's just something about those wide, squat porches in the front that is so visually appealing.
But then I get inside, and I'm all WTF?! Why are all the rooms on one level except this "finished attic" that is trying to give me a traumatic brain injury with an insufficient ceiling clearance on the stairs and the low eaves at the edges of the room.
