Everybody (I hope!) has at least one piece of clothing that they LOVE, that makes you feel great every time you put it on. What's yours? What do you love about it?
Mine is this leather jacket. I spent, like, a year searching for the perfect leather jacket, finally found it on a vacation to Vegas. It makes me feel so cool! I've been pregnant for two of the three falls since I got it, though. I can't wait for the weather to get cool enough to wear it!

I bought this coat on my anniversary like five years ago. I love it and love when fall/spring weather is just right to wear it. I always get a million compliments on it

I have a jersey dress from Old Navy from about 4 years back. Actually, I have since bought 2 more on ebay because I stained the first one and I love it so much. It is such forgiving material. I wore it pre-pregnancy, through my first pregnancy, post-partum (where I got way below my pre-preg weight), then back through another pregnancy. I can't believe it has looked good on me at all those weights and shapes (literally 45 pounds difference). I just wish Old Navy would bring back that style. Every year I look for more but they are never the same.

Just got the Elizabeth Suzann Harper tunic in the mail and it is so well made and comfortable and it makes me so happy. Saving up for my next piece!!!

@youboots: a good fitting out of jeans is always worth it, IMO. I had a pair of MEK jeans that I loved and wore to death. They lasted years and I wore them through my pregnancy with my belly band.

@catlady: Funny enough my favorite item is a black pointe dress from Old Navy. I bought it post-partum to wear to a wedding and wear it to work now 3+ years later several times a month. It's seen better days, but they changed the style the following year and it's not as flattering as this one. I tried the new ones...but they added pockets that add inches to hips...not good so I will wear this one until it falls apart (I'm sad to think that I think this is the last year for it, it's getting pretty piled from washings)

I don't know if it's my favorite, but I got these Steve Madden slip-on's (I think I actually got the kids version) during last year's Nordstrom Anniversary sale, and I literally wear them all day every day and it goes with everything! It's chic enough for work, comfy enough for weekends with a toddler and I can't wait to wear them this fall while pregnant.

I have a grey cardigan from AE that is probably 4+ years old that I wear sooo often, It's thin enough for summer, but warm enough for winter, and the sleeves are the perfect length (I hate sleeves that come up to just my wrists).
There are a few tiny holes in spots, so its time to find a new favorite cardigan!

@MrsA: I got AG maternity skinny jeans this pregnancy and they are amazing. I love them much more than the maternity version of my absolute favorite normal-size jeans (DL1961 Emma). I may pick up a pair of normal AGs once I'm post-partum!

@MrsA: They have them at Pea in the Pod, although I couldn't bear to pay the prices so I found a pre-owned pair on Ebay.

@MrsA: i actually realized looking through my maternity photos with my first that in only 1-2 of the pictures am I actually wearing maternity jeans. I only bought two pairs and preferred the comfort of my regular pants, left unbuttoned with the band. The jeans I wore in my maternity photos were non maternity with a band and you couldn't even tell

Ever since I started doing the capsule wardrobe, I've found that I have a number of pieces that I now love. Cardigans, dresses, shoes/boots, bag, coat and jacket. I think the only things I *don't* love are jeans/pants.
