We don't have one, which is probably why we haven't been on a date in a long time! Once in a while we'll do a day date though, which is nice but not the same.
What's your goto childcare for date nights?

Family. 3 sets of grandparents within 25 minutes. One of the biggest reasons we moved closer to home!

my parents or DH's parents. We are lucky to have close grandparents who enjoy babysitting.

My parents. They're always up for watching DD and sometimes take her to their house overnight so we can sleep in occasionally. We're very fortunate to have them.

We have a couple babysitters but they are not always available. We've had my parents watch LO quite a bit but after we move I am hoping to make some friends that will want to do "kid swaps"!

Family or daycare (they hold a "parents night out" once a month and we can drop the kids off for a few hours while we go have some time to ourselves)

We have a sitter who lives a couple blocks away.
Have also used my nanny for a couple instances.
I'm considering trying urbansitter in a pinch.

No go to so we don't really go on dates. We have some family remembers that would be willing if we asked, I think.

We have yet to really accomplish this because of family summer travel plans, but - grandparents!

My parents take LO1 overnight once every week or two. Now that LO2 is here, it'll be awhile before we have another, but even just having the big one away for a night is a break. They'll also watch him here, but prefer to have him over there.

My parents...they usually keep her overnight once a week so we use that as a chance to go out to dinner or a movie

We have an awesome go-to babysitter who is honestly a bit of a loser, she is always available Friday and Saturday nights, even at a few hours notice. Mind you, we pay her really well so I imagine she prioritises babysitting over a social life, we know she is saving up for a car. Basically it's one of our biggest expenses but probably also the best thing we do for our marriage. Every 2 weeks or so we go out for dinner either alone or with friends, go to cocktail bars, go to movies, or just hang out together wherever. We look at it as money well spent
