I just got a membership today (I cancelled while I was pregnant lol) and I want to be kind of quick when I'm there (cardio + weights for an hour). E isn't use to being in daycare and still has bad separation anxiety so I don't want to spend a ton of time there but I still want to get in shape.
What's your routine? Is is quick? What machines have helped you tone up the most?
The classes are 1 hour and are usually called Body Pump or Boot Camp, Total Body Conditioning, etc. Best moves for toning (me personally) are a variety of squats and lunges at high reps, and tricep dips. For core toning, Pilates moves are great. I'm usually cursing my instructors every class, but unless they're there to push me, it's hard for me to see results by simply using machines.
she doesn't like other people unless she knows them so I'm worried!
