I guess I yell at the dog more than I thought, because DD is starting to yell at him now (Get on your bed! ... No, Cody, No!... etc.) We just recently gave one dog away due to aggressive behavior towards DD, so I'm hoping it's just left over that... but it really has me thinking.
What's your latest "uh oh, better watch what I say" moment?

I have a bad habit of saying "i don't care" when my DD is whining out of control and she came home from school saying her teacher said its not nice to say "I don't care". Oops.

@BabyBoecksMom: I yell at our cats to get out of the bedroom all the time and now when my daughter sees them in the bedroom she yells, "GET OUT!" Oops.

DS1 has started saying "leave me alone!" And then DH pointed out that I say it to him all the time. Whoops! DH is a big poker/prodder/teaser though, it needs to be said!

OMG we yell at the dogs all the time. E know how to so "Down Puppy" and "Go Puppy" while pointing her finger at them, it's kinda funny but they listen to her so that's good.
She also just started saying "Ah Shheeeeeee" wich we think is Oh shit,... so we've toned down the swearing in our house! lol!

haha i'm sure our babys first word will be one of the dogs names! they are always getting in trouble 
my cousins daughter points her finger, stomps her little foot and tells the dog to "get over here" just like her mom does. so funny.

A friend of mine posted this article on FB this weekend, it really got me thinking (and crying a little, damn hormones!) about how I act around him. My dad's nickname growing up was Old Yeller, and while I think I turned out just fine and have a great relationship with him, I need to do better.

We also start the cuss jar tomorrow for Cam's second birthday. We made that decision while watching a close basketball game a couple weeks ago, I may have taught him, "shit, shit, shit, shit!" And it wasn't even my team, it was my husband's

My LO says "stop it" which is what I used to tell her instead of 'no." So now whenever you do something she doesn't like (change her diaper, take her food, disapline her. ect) she looks at you, scrunches her face and says 'stop it" in a very serious way. Sigh.

I lose my patience with her, especially lately b/c she's been so whiney and melts down at anything. I hate that I do it because I know it's teaching her the wrong way to deal with problems. But I also think we all need to cut ourselves a break now and then.
