What do you like to wear to bed?
I've always been a vest top (tank top) and shorts kinda girl but I just bought some maternity nightdresses. They are so frumpy, I feel ridiculous!!
How about you?

I wear a tank and underwear. I can't wear pants and I can't do the whole naked thing!

a light long sleeve top and light pajama pants. We have a heavy comforter, so if I wear anything heavier, I sweat too much.

I live in northern NY so I wear old PJ pants, cotton long sleeve shirt, and a sweatshirt. I will wear this for about 8 days in a row, then alternate, then switch back. I'm gross

Tank top and shorts or leggings. Sometimes a cute pajama set!
My husband would love if I slept in lingerie but...no way! So uncomfortable.

Sweat pants and t shirt in winter. Tank and shorts in summer

Just underwear. And I mean just the bottoms lol I've been wearing a sports bra for the last few nights and I hate it! But, it's necessary right now

The same thing I wear during the day.... Leggings and a nursing tank.

@Cherrybee: In answer to your question, a t-shirt and socks. And thank you for clarification on what a vest top is! I have been reading HP fan fiction written by a British girl and I kept imagining an actual vest (like from a suit) instead of a tank top every time she said "vest and pj bottoms."

Nursing sleep bra, tank top I can pull down, and underwear. When I'm not nursing, just a tank top or loose tshirt and underwear. I wear pajama pants around the house before bed, and when I'm up in the middle of the night, but can't sleep in them.

Nightshirt. Since having LO I can't sleep with bottoms on. I get too hot.

I voted "other" - usually sweat pants or leggings and a teeshirt or long-sleeve shirt. I don't own hardly any pajamas and what I do have are all pre-baby lol! In the summer if we don't have the AC on, I'll wear a tank top and underwear or shorts. I hate sleeping naked lol

I rotate between a non-maternity night gown and maternity leggings for the belly support & a tank and PJ bottoms & a tank.
I'm actually looking forward to getting real full set jammies to coordinate with my LO.

@avivoca: By the way, a tank top here is one of those patterned, sleeveless wool jumpers from the 70s!

@Cherrybee: yeah, we call that a sweater vest, and yes, kind of like a waistcoat from a suit.

T-shirt and comfy pants (yoga leggings/sweatpants/workout capris)
Lately I've been adding a hoodie sweater because I'm freezing. I hate this time of year!
I really couldn't look sexier, to be honest

@avivoca: Oh and another thing - pants here means under garments. What you call pants, we call trousers. So if Hermione ever drops her pants, you know she's gone too far.

Usually a pair of DHs track pants and whatever shirt I wore that day. Haha.

I used to just wear an over sized t-shirt but hubs was not impressed and requested something a little nicer so I got some cute more fitted night shirts. I can't way pants or shorts at all!!

Usually an old t-shirt and pajama pants. DH always wants something sexier, I want comfort!
Side note- when my son (3 years old) had a MOTN wake up during the summer, I went in and wasn't wearing pants. He lost it and wouldn't calm down until I put pants on.

T shirt and underwear. If it's very cold I wear fleece leggings and/or a long sleeved shirt.

Underwear and big oversized t shirt. Not very sexy. Poor husband.

It depends on the season. Socks are a must though. I can't sleep without them.

Usually a tank and underwear. Co-sleeping with a newborn, though...nursing sleep bra and a pair of D's boxers. I'm still bleeding enough to have to wear a pad and just feel like I have a diaper on and want to cover it some...

@Mrs. Pickle: exact opposite...I can't even sleep of my feet are covered with a sheet or blanket, I'd feel like I was suffocating if I tried to wear socks to bed!

@Cherrybee: lol, that back and forth was great.
I have an English friend and he always laughs when we say pants.

Confusing terms on this thread:
pants (aka underwear, aka trousers)
vest (aka waistcoat, aka tank top)
jumper (aka sweater)
waistcoat (aka vest, aka ... sorry I'm totally lost now.)
This is excellent

It's cold and I still have to trek down the hall to feed T, so I'm in scrub pants and a t shirt
blogger / wonderful cherry / 21616 posts
@Cherrybee: omg I just want to spend a day with you and listen to you talk
