DH & I both want to take LO trick or treating but who will pass out candy then? We may take turns or we may just leave a bowl of candy so we can both go... But I know it's more fun for kids to say "trick or treat" and ring the doorbell!

We leave a bowl, but we also are away from it for hours, so who know if it makes it to more than a couple kids

We leave a bowl with a sign that says "be back in 5, please take one". We both want to be with him and usually we aren't gone too long. More than 5 minutes, yes, but we don't want other people knowing that

I was just wondering this! DS is 16 months so I figure we won't be out long. Hopefully back in time for trick or treaters!

If we all go out, my FIL comes and stays with the dogs and passes out candy.

We ended up leaving a bowl! When we came back it was empty & I felt bad but trick or treating was too fun!

We went out to the 5 closest houses with our nearly-2-year-old and called it quits
Now I'm passing out candy (we don't get many, so I do full-size candy bars.) LO is about to go to bed, so we are putting out a bowl saying to take one now. Hopefully there will be none left for me in the morning
