I see a lot of posts out there on the internet with parents saying how much they love their kids, when they're not ***holes. It really bothers me. I'm seeing more now that Mother's Day is coming up and people are posting "funny" articles or letters to their kids on Facebook telling them they want them to be themselves, not ***holes.

Is this the new thing? Or is this something that has always been this way? Parents think it's okay and funny to call their kids this word? When did it become funny and okay to call your kid bad words, whether you're saying it in jest or not?

I'm sure not all kids are jerks. Actually, I have a feeling most kids are just being kids and parents are just becoming less patient. Is it just me that feels this way?
