With LO 1- right after I left the ultrasound place!
LO 2- maybe 30 minutes after the scan! I needed some time to process....

With DS we took a picture right when we got home and announced with it right away!
With DD we found out that she was a girl at my regular doctor's appt but we waited to officially announce until my anatomy scan a week and a half later.

a couple hours after we found out! we had to call/tex ppl i would want to tell in person (and not able to!) before we put it up on social media.

Probably immediately after we find out lol! We'll probably call/contact family first and then post it to FB.

We texted people right after we left the ultrasound room waiting to talk to the doctor.

With our parents, we called them on our way out of the scan. With everyone else, we announced that night with a picture of a boy sleeper on a wash line. That was also our pregnancy announcement period at 20 weeks.

The day we found out! My parents came with us to the us place so they found out when we did. All the rest of the family we called, and we put up a general announcement that night on fb.

With both we told family immediately. Don't remember when I did social media with M. But with this one day after we found out.

we told our family and friends right away when we saw them in person, but we never announced anything on social media.

With DS we announced as soon as our ultrasound was over. With DD we wanted to tell our family in person, so we just waited a couple hours to announce to everyone else.

We never announced, we answered when people asked what we're having. The only people we told "activly" were our parents & siblings.

We told family after our NT scan. With others, we just told them when they asked.

We called close family as soon as we got out of the scan...we announced on FB later that night.

It was a slow rollout. Called and texted my family over the day. Took a picture that night with a balloon and e-mailed friends and coworkers who were waiting to know. Everyone else only found out if they asked.

After the holidays so we wouldn't get a crap ton of baby girls clothes.

19 weeks after our u/s

I sent texts to my parents/siblings/friends while we were waiting between the ultrasound and my doctor's appointment (ultrasounds were done at my clinic). I went home and took a picture (of a pumpkin with a mustache since it was the day before Halloween) and put it on Facebook a couple hours after we found out.

The inlaws came over for dinner that night , so they found first. We text a few family/friends after telling them, and then Facebook a few hours later.

LIke 10 hours later, we had people over and announced it that way even though we knew! So hard not to tell people

We told family right away and made a fb post about a day later. The fb post was also our pregnancy announcement.

Right after the scan we went and brought little gift boxes with blue plastic shoes and mints that said its a boy for my mom, dad, MIL, and SIL and gave them each one to open , then I texted all my family in a group text and then put it on fb for everybody else I was 20 or 21 weeks

We brought our moms to the scan. MIL texted her side of fam from the room & told without me even realizing! We called & texted my fam throughout the rest of that day. I announced at work the next day and Facebook that evening or the following day.

DH and I went to dinner the night we had our scan and opened an envelope there to find out what we were having. Then we texted/called our families and close friends. I announced on FB a few days later. We plan to do the same this time...on May 7th!
ETA: I was wrong, we told my FIL and some family by text but we told my mom, sister, grandmother, and MIL by making cupcakes with blue frosting in the middle
