My mom, BFF and SIL right away. Like a few hours later, because I was a hot mess about it.
D's family at 7 weeks. We'd been hoping to have an ultrasound to confirm the pregnancy first, but they couldn't get us in before Christmas and Christmas seemed like a great time to share.
My father and stepmother at 8 weeks, after the first ultrasound.
My siblings and some of my extended family (like my grandmother) over the next few weeks.

We told family at 13 weeks (DH's birthday was that weekend). We told FB/internet at 14 weeks? It was about a week later.

Close friends/family - pretty much straight after the bfp (was texting my friend about taking poas.
Everyone else/facebook - we announced after our 12 week scan.When we have another I'm not sure if I'll make a facebook announcement - might just keep it to close friends/family and no doubt the news will be spread around anyway!

I texted my sister right after I told DH! His family and some extended family we told at 6 weeks when we saw them in person. Facebook/ everyone else we told at 15ish weeks.

With our first we told people we were close with at 13 weeks, the rest at 24-26 weeks (I had to tell when I started to pop).
With our second, we didn't tell until match so that was 33-34 weeks.

Both times we told family right away. I told work at around 8-9 weeks. I show very early and I really couldn't hide it. With my second pregnancy a few co-workers guessed before I said anything.

With #1, immediate family 6 weeks. work, friends and FB at 13 weeks after our NT scan
With #2, immediate family between 1-3 weeks after finding out(I didn't know how far along I was with #2, as it was a surprise), work and friends 13 weeks(after NT scan), FB 20 weeks.

With #1 - 12-14 weeks for family and closest friends. Facebook around 20 weeks.
With #2 - right away with my two best friends, 7 weeks to my dad since we were traveling with him. 14ish weeks for the rest of the family and close friends. No Facebook this time.

Our close family/friends were told right away, everyone else was told in our Christmas cards at 17w. We had a pictures in front of our tree/mantle with our stockings and a matching mini stocking

@autumnlove: I plan on waiting as LONG as humanly possible to tell ANYONE with #2.
I do have 3-4 HB friends who have been with me since day 1 of TTC, so thy will know right away! But other than that, we will hold off.
This is our ideal plan:
17-19w-- parents and family
20w-- IRL friends (most live out of state) and hb
Obviously showing---everyone else (dh's employees, neighbors, my professors & classmates) -
@Mrs. Jacks: Not yet. Maybe a baby in 2015? I want to work a little longer before I SAH for a few years.

@autumnlove: that's our plan too! Have 2 & then then work a bit to build seniority and then have a 3rd. I don't want 3 in daycare. I'd rather stay home with 2 and have my frat be in full-time kindergarten.

@autumnlove: You never know... I could see just wanting to get all the pregnancy over with quickly too. My sister did that.

Close friends: Right away (I texted a few of them)
Family: 11 weeks
Work: 15 weeksI told everyone the first time around at 8 weeks and lost it a month later, so I decided to wait longer this time. I'll probably always wait, which is lame sauce.

Told my BFF at 8 weeks because she was visiting and I wasn't drinking. Told mom/step dad/ ILS at just under 10 weeks on family vacation. Told rest of family (dad, siblings, grandparents) after our 12 week ultrasound. Work at 15 weeks. Facebook at 20 weeks.

@autumnlove: We told immediate family & our best friends around 5 weeks. We shared with everyone else at 13 weeks. I'd probably do the same thing with #2.
