When did the baby drop during your pregnancy? Was it really noticeable visually or was it more like something you felt (ie hip pain)?

I couldn't notice mine. Near the end I'd have people on the same day say "wow, you dropped" and "you definitely haven't dropped yet". I have a bit of a short torso, so maybe it would be less obvious?

I'm not there yet but my good friend had a baby on Friday. About a week before she delivered she came in to work one morning and her belly looked SO MUCH lower than the day before. I thought I was just crazy but I mentioned something to her and she told me she totally felt like she dropped too (like she had a bowling ball on her cervix!)

I didn't notice it at all. My baby was positioned super low the entire time. I felt like I was walking around with a bowling ball between my legs for my entire 3rd trimester, so if she did "drop" at some point, it wasn't obvious to me.

I took week by week pics and always carried really low, but it was more noticeable right around 30 weeks.

About 32 weeks, I think. I don't know that it looked noticeable, but I felt the difference.

Never.
My belly was so confined by my body... and he didn't get to 0 station until I was well into labor. Bummer.

With my first I think I dropped around 36w (received comments from my coworkers that I was definitely carrying lower and I could breath easier). With my current pregnancy I am 32w and feel like I have dropped, not because of any pain but because I can take deeper breaths and my belly looks lower to me (no one else has said anything this time).

I think I dropped at 33 weeks. I don't think I can see the difference but I felt it - my bladder started hurting everytime she moved her head.
