We could have found out at 20 weeks but we were team green. We can find out at 20 weeks this time around if we want. DH wants too but I don't. I hope the baby doesn't cooperate!

I was exactly 16 weeks when we went in for an elective gender scan. It was confirmed at my doctor a few times when I had ultrasounds for different reasons.

I had my NT scan at 11w6d, though CRL measurement put baby at 12w5d. The u/s tech asked if we were planning to find out the gender. I said yes! She said based on the angle of the nub, she would guess girl. She didn't put any qualifying language on it like I'm only x% sure or don't go out shopping yet, but we're trying not to get too attached to the idea of a girl until we have confirmed it for sure.

We're debating an early elective u/s at 16 weeks to satisfy our curiosity, but not sure if it's worth the $75 to find out a few weeks earlier, especially because I was really adamant about having as few u/s as possible. It's hard not to want them though once you actually get to experience how awesome it is to see your baby!
