I was 8 or 9. Can't imagine letting my kids go alone at that age esp at night like I did!
When were you allowed to go alone?

My sisters and I always went together..
I think I was 5 when we went alone without our parents.
5, 8, and 11.

I'd never let my kids roam the streets by themselves now. We used to walk around in the dark until.. 9ish? 10?

I don't think we went alone until we were too old to be trick-or-treating...(like 13-14)...

Um... like 9ish? We lived in a very family friendly neighborhood. I don't know that I'd trust kids going out alone like that nowadays!

We went when we were like..8 or 9, like you....but we always went in such a big group...like 7-8 kids and some of them were older...maybe 11-13yrs old. It was always us and some other siblings from the neighborhood. -
I didn't go trick or treating alone until high school...

We always went trick or treating as a family, and when I didn't want to go trick or treating anymore, I stayed home and passed out candy.

I think around 8 or 9. Trick or Treating in my childhood neighboorhood was always on a Sunday afternoon so it wasn't a huge deal to be out and about alone during the daytime. Plus, I always went with my brother.
I remember when I was in 4th grade, though, I went trick or treating with a friend in her neighboorhood at nighttime and it was the coolest thing!! We were alone. I felt like such a badass

4th or 5th grade? My parents let us go because we went with friends and lived in a townhome complex.
And then on for middle school in my friends' neighborhoods.
I don't know that we would ever let our kids do it nowadays (plus there's a 8pm curfew!)

I was 11 or 12.

Hrm, I would go with a group of friends, and there was usually an adult with us until 12 or 13? I think I stopped T-or-t shortly after 13 anyways.

I want to say like 9 or 10, but in those days we would go early like, 3:30 or so.
