DD was born at 42+1. I was induced at 42 weeks on the nose and she came the next morning at 5:21 a.m. I tried EVERYTHING, save for castor oil, to get labour to start spontaneously, but it just wasn't happening.
I was born exactly one week late.

My mom had all three of us kids early and my sister had her first 5 weeks early and her second baby 2 weeks early so I'm just trying to prepare myself. Looks like the average here goes to 40 weeks or pretty darn close. I have a feeling ill be early, we ' ll see....

I went into labor the night before my due date, and baby C came the morning of my due date!

Induced at 41 weeks + 1 day. I failed to dilate on my own, just like my Mom.

@sumer08: that's so interesting. My mom started dilating weeks early so thats why she was induced early with all three kids. She said she doesn't produce whatever- it- is that puts you into labor...I don't know, is there a hormone or chemical your body releases to start labor? Ill have to ask her...

She came the day she was due (on a Sunday). The Thursday before, my doctor said I made zero progress from 3 weeks before and that she'd definitely see me on Monday. She was so sure I wasn't having her before my due date that my doc went away for the weekend, and the doc on call delivered DD.
My mom was at least a week late with all 4 of us. -
It's oxytocin...so my mom doesn't produce this but dilated early therefore was induced early.....I wonder if ill follow suite.
Has anyone else had this as well happen?

N was due on October 20 and he arrived on October 5. (15 days early)

DD came 6 days early. I went into labor on Sunday, she was born on Monday and she was due on the coming Saturday.

She came on my Birthday which was 2 days after my due date.

My LO was born 10 days early. I just expected to go into labor after my due date since it seemed like the case for most people with their first born.

I was induced at 40+6. If I have another, I'd wait a little longer to try to have the baby naturally. That said, my doc is pretty convinced that vaginal delivery in general is going to be tough for me. Sigh.

DS came two weeks early. I did not have any early sign, my water broke and we went straight to the hospital.

No one in my family has ever had a baby on time, they are always late:)
With LO, I was induced at 41 weeks.

DS was 2 days late.

DS was 3 days late.
We are very on-time people and so people tease us sometimes about DS being late because it's so unlike our family. Which I think is cute. Hehe.

Same as @kiddosc, @rescuemom10, @sandy and a few others: 2 days late.
I started having contractions at 4pm Sunday, had the baby at 11:50pm on Monday.
