Wondering when everyone brought out the potty to introduce?

DS is 15 months old and we will be getting one soon. I just need to figure out which one. He has definitely shown interest. He goes into the bathroom with DH and watches. It's kinda cute!

Yea, my daughter is 14 months and she has too as well. We have a perfect spot in front of the toilet in the main bath where I bathe her. So I thought it would be a good chance to plop her on there before bath time!

That would be perfect! We have a really tiny bathroom so I need to find something that we can store between the tub and toilet and just bring out when needed.

We started sitting on the potty at 6 months. When he started taking his own diapers off (I don't remember the age) is when we started using it more frequently. Now at 2 he pees and poops on command but doesn't ask to go. So very much like Elimination Communication still.
Oh and we used the seat on top of the big potty with the tall stools from ikea.

We tried introducing it early with her son but he didn't take and we eventually potty trained him just shy of his 3rd birthday. My daughter initiated going to the potty around a year and was going number 2 on her own before 18 months.

We introduced the potty around 16 months. I attempted to potty train for a week last summer with no success. Since he was familiar with the potty, it helped a lot with our recent potty training success this past weekend. LO is now 27 months old and no longer in diapers!

8 months. She peed in it the first time she sat on it...total fluke. She sits on it every night before bath time!

I started EC early.. I forget when though. 7-8 months? Dd was doing well and I was catching pees and poops, but I was too lazy to keep up with it.
I introduced the potty again 2 weeks before her 2nd birthday. She was potty trained in a day!
