Hellobee Boards

We went last year but only to a few houses. We're going to do more this year. I was just telling her last night that if she says Trick or Treat people will give her chocolate so she was running around yelling trick or treat...I think she was hoping I'd give her some early!

We went last year when he was almost 2. He didn't really get it and we only went to a couple of our neighbors' houses who we knew would love to see him.

@Foodnerd81: Yep, I totally agree with you! The 'burbs are the best for Trick-or-Treating!

We took DS when he was 3 months (we dressed up as the Wizard of Oz characters). He fell asleep 3 houses in, but we were with a group of friends so we trudged on.

Last year, he was 15 months (we were the Barneys from the Flintstones). He pushed him in a little car, and he just sat there while we did the work for him.

This year, he's walking and talking so I'm hoping he'll understand the concept of Trick-or-Treat! Now to figure out what to dress up as...

Last year she went and went up to houses, we took her before that but carried her mostly. I think she's going to be so excited this year!

we took dd at 1 mo shy of 2 last year. she didn't really get it and dh had to hold her most of the time. this year (1 mo shy of 3) i think she'll have a lot of fun, esp when she starts seeing all the candy! ds will be 14 mo so he won't get it yet.

We took her to a few houses last year when she was almost 22 months. She was totally into it! By the second house she knew what to do.
She was equally excited handing out candy at our house when she came back.

DDs first time was 14 months? She was walking well and we went with a bunch of other toddlers. We pushed her in a car buggy and she would walk up to the actual doors. It was sooo fun!

DS's first time was at about 7 months. He was dressed up and sat in the stroller but didn't actually ToT. We went up to the houses but did not ask for candy for him. It was just for fun since big sis & friends were ToTing. This year will be his real first time at 19 months.

DD is 3 and I'm thinking of taking her this year for the first time. Slight wrinkle is that I will be about 38 weeks' pregnant. We would probably only go to my Inlaws' house and the houses of the two neighbors we are closest too though so that's probably doable unless baby comes early!
