I'm thinking I should wait I until after the first trimester, what do other people do?

I waited until we found out the gender at 16 weeks. I'm not into gender neutral.

We also waited til we knew the gender at 16 weeks. I didn't want to go too crazy early on an then have nothing to do for the majority of my pregnancy.

I think I bought a few things right away, but mostly waited until around 20 weeks to buy more, then we got the rest for our showers.

We waited until 10 weeks I think. Found some deals on consignment clothing that I couldn't pass up.

I bought a few outfits at a consignment store after passing a licensing exam at about 12 weeks, and I couldn't pass up a deal on a used baby bjorn bouncer at about 15 weeks, but I'm almost at 24 and we still haven't purchased anything else. We have been given a few bigger items, but still have a lot that we need.
Our plan is to wait until after the baby shower, although we're checking a consignment store and Craigslist for a few of the bigger items we are okay getting used.

I bought a couple gender neutral things right away. Next time around I will wait for a heartbeat.

We waited until after the anatomy scan at 19 weeks. I wanted to know the gender first and I was really wary after our first 2 losses.

I bought him a book at the art museum when I was in the first trimester, and a onesie on vacation at 15 weeks, but then nothing until we knew the gender and were planning the nursery. We bought some (probably too many) clothes the day we learned the gender.

DH bought the crib and dresser at 8 weeks, he was really excited!
We started buying clothes and nursery decor at 16 weeks when we found out we are team blue

I wanted to wait till the first trimester was over, but then there was a woot-off. End of story.

I bought my first baby clothes this past weekend...at 32 weeks. But I also realize that's not entirely normal.

21 weeks for this pregnancy and 18 weeks for my first!

I waited until 25 weeks or so. I have a hard time buying for her because I feel like I don't know her well enough to pick things out for her.

I bought a PPB diaper bag that was just such a good deal early, I think like 8 weeks. I had bought a few items of clothing both boy & girl while TTC. Didn't start going nuts on clothes till we found out gender at 12 wks, and then went nuts! Hahaha...I've slowed down a lot though the last couple of months.

With first LO I waited until end of second tri, this time I started buying at beginning of second tri (and felt like a daredevil)!

we still haven't bought anything. probably going to hold off until 30 weeks or so? i hate having stuff just sit around. plus i'd like to see what we get at our baby shower (if we have one).

i don't think i started buying things until the end of the second trimester. we didn't even announce until 20 weeks, so i know i didn't buy anything before then!

I've bought a few books already (I'm 10 weeks) and I'm itching to do some proper shopping but my BFF had a baby 7 weeks ago and I have a feeling we will be given loads of stuff. I will be super grateful if she does pass some things down - but I want to start shopping so much!!!

My first pregnancy I bought things early, and then I miscarried. So the next time I waited. I don't think I bought anything until after my shower that time because I wanted to see what others would buy for me first.

We bought a white snowsuit the week I found out, because I found out in January & it was on clearance.
My ILs bought the crib at 9 weeks because they wanted to take advantage of a sale.
We waited to buy most other things until we found out the sex!

I've been buying things since the day I got my bfp. I have a problem.

We bought the car seat around 24 weeks, but other than that, we still haven't bought anything for our LO!!! My parents bought a crib and mattress also around 24 weeks, but that's it. I'm waiting until after my shower to see what we still need before I do much shopping.

I caved and bought some super discount Christmas stuff for next year today...I feel guilty but am SO excited to get it in the mail!

At the beginning of the second trimester I got her gender neutral stuff like pjs, socks, cute onesies, etc
