for #1, not til I was in true labor. for #2, at 36 weeks, but she wasn't born til almost 4 weeks later!

@boiledpnut: I've been having crazy BH contractions from week 20 to now. The last few weeks they've been pretty painful and I've had lots of vag bone hurting.
I'd say I get at least 30 moderately painful BH a day. Probably more. My OB usually doesn't check the cervix until later but I asked him to check mine yesterday because I knew there had to be some action down there.

@boiledpnut: I can't remember when my OB checked me for baby 1. He was shocked when he checked me because my 1st was born at 40 weeks 2 days. Baby's head is really low too so we're on baby watch right now! Hoping he makes it to 37 weeks at least!

I was 0cm but almost totally effaced at 39 weeks, 5 days. I gave birth at 40 weeks, 4 days. I couldn't feel my BH contractions and had no real contractions until the day I gave birth.

wasn't checked until 38-5 and was 1 cm, 80% effaced. was at 2 cm, 90% at 39-2 when i was induced.

I was 2cm dilated at 37 weeks! I was just over 3 at 38 weeks snd I delivered at 38w5d

I've only been checked 2x so far...
36 weeks - 0 cm dilated, 50% effaced
39 weeks - 1 cm dilated, 50% effaced, -2 station, soft

I have not really had any painful contractions or BH that I am aware of... a couple days before 39 weeks I started having menstrual like cramps... maybe that resulted in the 1cm dilated.

30 weeks - 1 cm and 50% effaced (unfortunately)
36 weeks - 1.5 cm and 50% effaced
37 weeks - 2 cm and 75% effaced
38 weeks - 4 cm and 80% effaced -- had baby 2 days later : )

1cm.at 35.5 weeks

At 38 weeks I was 1cm dilated and at 39 I was a "loose 2-3". I had him at 39w5d.

ETA: I was checked at my weekly appts. My SIL had her latest baby at 38 weeks...I don't know when it started, but she was walking around at 5cm for a good week before she delivered (he's her 5th baby).
