When did you start packing away toys that your LO no longer played with, or had outgrown? I'm hoping to pack away LO's "baby" toys just before her first birthday, unless she plays with it regularly.

We did a switch around 8 months when she got toys for Christmas. Then again at a year after her party. But I've kept some gifts wrapped to do a rotation system.

@regberadaisy: So some toys she hasn't played with yet, do you just store them in a closet or something?

@Bao: Yup. The stuff she outgrew we put in plastic totes in the basement for #2.

we started rotating out as he got more toys(mainly around Christmas). we still have unopened toys here waiting to make their way into rotation :o)
