Before 2 weeks old. She was probably close to 9 lb at that time. Looked huge but worked fine! We did BG 4.0s.

@bluestriped bee: I can't remember, but she was definitely in the bottom five percent weight-wise and she has tiny little legs. I probably COULD have tried harder to get them to work earlier, but four months was the age that I could stop leaks easily and she wasn't completely swimming in them.

She was about 5 weeks. We were eager to switch because the newborn ones we were using were fitteds & prefolds with covers, so AIOs were a welcome treat. I was so sick of snappis, plus the prefolds just did not fit her anymore.

I remember searching for info on this question at the time, and people's answers ranged from 2 weeks to 10 months. It really is whenever it works for your LO, according to the relative chunkiness of their thighs.

I started using my flip covers at 5 days old, and I'm guessing she was right around 8 lbs. her legs weren't quite plump enough, so we had some leaks. By 2 weeks, the flips were fitting well, and I was starting to use my 4.0s and freetimes. I'd say they all fit great by about a month, so right around 9ish pounds.
