I still call L a baby and she's three. However, now if she hears me, she informs me she is a big girl and not a baby.

Never! I'm the type who will always think of my children as my babies and unabashedly call them that. They may not love it but that's how it's gonna be. Heehee

my dad still calls me baby so...

I still call D baby and he quickly corrects me saying he is the big boy and J is the baby. It makes me sad. Recently he has dropped the y off his name and insists we call him by his real name. It breaks my heart, I wanted to call him that til he was like 35 not 4.

LO1 recently started telling me he's not a baby, he's a big boy. It more has to do with the fact that there's an actual baby in the house. I tell him that he is my first baby and that no matter how big he gets, even when he's bigger than me he will ways be my baby. It just makes him giggle, but it really is true.
