I have been exercising fairly regularly, however, I am now 34.5 weeks and it is getting REALLY uncomfortable. Up until a couple weeks ago, I was walking outside about 25 miles a week. I switched mostly to the treadmill, elliptical, and bike due to weather. But all of these options are causing a lot of nearly debilitating hip and back pain. I expected to be able to go right up until my due date, but perhaps I was overly optimistic. When did you stop exercising? Oh, and lest you think I am awesome for exercising, I still have gained a TON of weight.
But I was never really uncomfortable or in pain during my pregnancy. Everyone's different and you need to listen to your body.
