I am 8w4d currently on Crinone 8% gel once a day, I was put on I t as pretty much a precaution, my progestrone dropped slightly after my first Beta, that was a month ago, since then all is going great saw HB and baby bean! RE stated I will probably stop after my next apt 5/13 I'll be one day shy of 9weeks.......
Truth be told I'm scared to stop!!!!!
When did you stop, was it cold Turkey, did they check your levels, I 
my RE and will tell him my fear on Tuesday, but just wanted to see others!

If you're not ready, you can continue taking it until week 12 when the placenta is fully formed and has taken over. Go with what feels right to you!

I finished my prescription at maybe...10-11 weeks. No one checked my progesterone levels after stopping.

@TheReelDeal: I have about 12 applicators left, so it will take me to about 10 1/2 I'd be comfortable doing 1 every other day and go slowly off it........

I was on PIO and Crinone until 7 weeks and they continued me on the Crinone supps until about 12 weeks. But to be fair, my RE simply said the last time I saw him "keep taking the Crinone until your OB tells you to stop". I saw my OB at 12 weeks and she said "you don't have to keep taking these, you probably could have stopped around 10 weeks".
I'm still glad I kept taking them till 12 weeks but I'm sure it would've been fine had I stopped.
I was also IVF, so that might be a different story than IUI? -
I had PIO and vag suppositories until 12 weeks (with twins). If I had been pregnant with a singleton, my RE would have taken me off at 10 weeks though. I know how scary it was to quit! But it was also so nice to be done with shots and mess of suppositories!

Progestrone levels went from 22 my first beta to 18 he was not concerned, but I had it left from previous IUI cycles so he said just start.... -

@FaithFertility: I think I stopped at 10 weeks. They told me at my 8w viability appt that it was ok to discontinue, but I had two weeks left of pills so they gave me the ok to finish the script.

I was on oral progesterone, and I stopped around 12 weeks. I think it was actually 13 because I just used it up rather than trying to figure out a day. I was nervous, even though I knew it would be fine.

I'm just so glad that you're to the point in your preg where you can stop the progesterone! It felt like such an awesome milestone when I got there!

I stayed on until 11 weeks or so, when my RE released me to see my OB. I was on the injections for the first 7 weeks, then the Crinone for another month. I think it is my RE's IVF protocol to stay on for most of the 1st trimester. Big milestone when you get to stop the progesterone!

My doctor wanted me to take it until 12w, but I ran out at 11w2d and couldn't get more. I was reallly nervous to go off but thankfully everything was fine.

I did PIO shots until 7 weeks and suppositories until 11 weeks. I was so happy but so nervous to stop each time!
