I've read tons of things and heard different things so I don't know! I asked my doctor and she I can do it as long as i'm comfortable and that eventually it won't be so I shouldn't have to worry about it. When did you ladies stop?

I stopped pretty early, just because I knew when the time came it would be hard for me to stop since I'm so used to it. But the snoogle really helped.

I stopped as soon as I found out I was pregnant..around 5-6 weeks. I can't wait I stop nursing so I can comfortably sleep on my stomach again!

I'm thinking of getting the wedge pillow for my stomach, at least then it's not just hanging out and has some support! It's been tough since I was a total stomach sleeper before! I stopped in the beginning then started again, now I'm trying to stop lol

I was never a big stomach sleeper.. I love sleeping on my back though, and slept on my back my entire pregnancy.

I slept on my stomach until it was uncomfortable. There's no real reason to do it any earlier, unless you are training yourself like Artbee said.

I also slept on my stomach until it got uncomfortable which was about week 24.

I stopped sleeping on my stomach as soon as I started getting nauseous. I feel really sick at night and I couldn't handle the pressure on my stomach!

I loved sleeping on my stomach but a couple weeks after the BFP I couldn't get comfortable any more. Now I sleep on my back with my hands above my head... its weird

I stopped sleeping on my stomach early in the first trimester due to feeling sore in my boobs and also feel bloated. Now I miss it so badly, I'm sick of sleeping on my side!

@aMohror: I have the wedge pillow and used it a lot when I was pregnant with my son. I used it never night with this pregnancy too. I LOVE it.

@banana: Well I just picked up the wedge on Friday! I haven't really gotten used to it yet but I like how small it is compared to a bulky body pillow!

@amohror: Yay! I love my wedge pillow. Try sleeping without it one night and you'll really appreciate it. Once you're deeper into the 3rd trimester and back sleeping becomes uncomfortable for you, you can put the wedge pillow against your back (like the narrow edge facing you) and it lets you sleep comfortably "on your back". You're not fully on your back but at like a slight incline. But it totally feels like you're laying on your back! LOVE THIS.

@banana: Haha, that's what I used my husband for before I got the wedge! lol He would let me lay against him so I wasn't flat on my back but still comfortable! I also like to put the wedge in the front and do the same thing but on my stomach, so I don't have all the pressure like I would if I were laying on my stomach. I also love how it's not as bulky as the body pillow and if I fall asleep and the wedge gets lost somewhere in the bed, it's not in the way!

I'm almost 28 weeks and I sort of still sleep on my stomach sometimes. I use the snoogle as a wedge to reduce pressure on my tummy. Mega comfy.

I stopped sleeping on my belly in the first trimester. It just got uncomfortable - like I was over-full from dinner all the time. Now I spend a lot of time propping myself up best possible with pillows so I can sort of lay on my belly and on my side at the same time.

@aMohror: LOL! I love that your husband was your body pillow! My DH would hate that. He hates it when we're touching when he's sleeping. He can't fall asleep like that. Weirdo. Yup, I use it on my stomach every night. It gets even better when your stomach gets huge and heavy in the 3rd tri.
Oh, and later on you can use it to elevate LO's head (for reflux and spit ups). I tucked the wedge under the crib sheet (so that it stays put) and let my LO nap on it on a slight incline. So many uses for one little wedge pillow!!

I stopped around 20 weeks, tho I was never much of a stomach sleeper either.
