I'll be 36w tomorrow and this little lady is still all up in my ribs...my ribs have actually been sore the last couple of days from all the kicking/rubbing up against them that she's been doing. Mama is ready for this baby to drop! My mom said I didn't drop until the day before she went into labor, so I'm not holding my breath!

Around 38 weeks. I measured 36 weeks at my 38 week appointment because he had dropped a bit.

I'm guessing around 38 weeks. I didn't really see a difference that he dropped based on my belly, but I definitely FELT more pressure during that last week than I had felt before, so I'm guessing that's when it happened. And I went into labor at 39 weeks.

I don't think this has any bearing on when you'll deliver because people thought I'd dropped around 34 weeks an kept saying I'd go early! She was 12 days late, so that obviously didn't work out

@lawbee11: My baby was always low, but I still had awful rib pain all the way to the end.

36 weeks. everybody was commenting on it! But i still had to be induced at 41 weeks.

I think around 38 weeks or so. I remember it seemed like the next day, I started waddling around. He arrived two days ahead of his due date.

I am 37 weeks and 5 and i think i am starting to drop now. Its been a few days since I feel like I can breathe without feeling so out of breathe.

I thought he was dropping because I hadn't felt any kicks to the ribs, but NOPE - he got me last night right in the lower rib. I do feel like I can breathe more easily now, so maybe it was the position I was in? I'm 36 + 3.

I've been carrying low the entire time! 38+1 now and I've had no heartburn and no kicks to the ribs throughout the entire pregnancy. She's head down, right in my pelvis. Baby wreaked havoc on my sciatic nerve from about 16 weeks though!

@Cherrybee: So similar! 38 weeks +2 and baby has been pretty low the whole time, but recently I feel like my bump looks higher instead of lower-- my theory is there is only so far down the baby can go before actually, you know, getting into the birth canal and all, so as he or she grows, the butt and legs are starting to get into my rib area. I've definitely started getting some good jabs to the ribs but if I stretch out my middle (like leaning back) and push down on the top of my bump i can save my ribs from the worst of them. So, definitely not dropping.
@Cherrybee: No heartburn here either. I think we are having little bald babies.
