LO is a shortie, but proportional in height and weight -- he's 4 months and 23 3/8 inches and around 14.5 pounds.

However, he's getting so hard to lug around in his car seat. We've been using the car seat adapter with the City Mini jogger, but I'd love to start just putting him in the stroller. However, the straps still seem way too big for him.

Am I just not grasping how to adjust them properly? Are they just naturally big? Or do I need to wait longer before he goes in there? I'd really like to get a convertible car seat soon but can't get rid of the infant seat if he won't fit in the stroller body.
