I'm 11w1d and just look like had too many donuts for breakfast. And only if I wear something really tight fitting. I think I'm still a few weeks away from anyone else being able to notice a physical difference.

I didn't really have any kind of a belly until about 16+ weeks; I was just super bloated (and gaining weight evenly from head to toe). Just this past week (from weeks 21-22 - I am almost 23 weeks), my lower belly has started looking less like fat/weight gain and more like a baby bump (like even strangers might recognize a baby bump), although it really only looks pronounced when I have to pee (or am super full). But the middle/upper part of my bump hasn't popped yet, so I am still waiting for that to happen.

Absolutely nothing to show on my end yet at 11w3d. Can't even find anything if I poke around in there.
Although my maternity pants make me look super pregnant. But if I'm naked I look like a regular person (who weighs more than she used to)

I'm really curious how soon I'll show, since I'm really tiny.
I figure it will be early on because of that, but I'm not sure if I'll just look like I'm gaining weight or if I'll look pregnant.

This is a fun thread! I'm 10w and look exactly the same so far. Though there are evenings when I'm bloated and feel monstrous.
@Arden: My SIL is a tiny girl (5'3, 110lbs, very fit), and she didn't start showing until seven months!

I'm almost 16 weeks, and at night, when I'm wearing maternity shirts, you can see a roundness that wasn't there before. But in regular clothes you really can't tell. It comes and goes, also--some days it's more obvious than others
@MsLipGloss: yup, ditto--my bump is pretty low, only between my hipbones.

I notice my waistline definitely thickening, but nothing obvious yet! Which is good for me, I am not in a hurry to tell anyone.

I crossed over from looking bloated to slightly pregrnant at 17 weeks. I've popped again in the past few days as I approached 28 weeks, because there is no more up in my torso - baby girl can only grow out now!
GOLD / pineapple / 12662 posts
@Arden: My waist/torso was really pretty tiny (approx. 23 inches on a 5'7" frame) pre-pregnancy, and it has still taken a while to show. I credit this, at least in part, to (1) head-to-toe weight gain, and (2) a long torso. Without sounding retardedly conceited, my pre-pregnancy body looked a lot like Marisa Miller's, although I was definitely not as thin (just very similar shape, especially throughout the chest and mid-section . . . compared to her, I carry a little extra weight in my legs/thighs/bootay, but still very hour-glassy).

I'm almost 17 weeks and I've noticed it really popping out this past week. Yesterday we were at Costco and I caught a reflection of myself in one of the doors in the refrigerated section and was kind of shocked because I actually look pregnant!

@MsLipGloss: I'm like 5'4" and 103 pounds, so I figure I'll show quickly. Which is bad, because I don't want people to know until I'm like halfway through.... lol

My belly popped right at 18 weeks, there is no sucking in anymore! I'm measuing a little bigger at 20 weeks.

I guess I "popped" around 16 weeks but I was definitely showing at 12 weeks. (first baby)

@Arden: Ahhh . . . it really is all in the body type! Pregnancy has been such an (alice in wonderland-type) adventure. Yanno, pre-pg, I thought I would want to be one of those girls that didn't show until like 30ish weeks. Instead, I found myself wanting a bump pretty quickly. lol! I guess I just wanted everyone to know without having to tell them.

I'm smaller, so my belly definitely looked like a belly probably around the 16 week mark.

At 16 weeks I can say I'm definitely rounder, but if you didn't know I was pregnant you'd never ask. I'm excited to officially POP. Hoping it's between now and week 20 - that's what I've been told to expect at least!
pomelo / 5720 posts
Probably right around 18 weeks it was pretty noticeable but I really popped around 22 weeks. I'm 27 weeks today and it just keeps getting bigger....

Almost 16 weeks now and I wouldn't say I've popped yet, but there is definitely a little bump that sticks around all day. Strangers wouldn't think I was pregnant. But my coworkers and husband have commented on my bump.

People @ work didn't know until I was almost 30 weeks!! I covered it pretty well & think most people could tell around 25?! But this time around I am only 7 weeks 3 days & certain times of day I swear I am as big as I was @ 20 weeks with my first ah!
hostess / watermelon / 14932 posts
I noticed a change around 12 weeks, but other people didn't (unless I specifically pointed it out!) until this week, at 20 weeks! I get a lot of, "Oh wow! You got big!" ..well I'd hope so, I have a banana in there!
hostess / watermelon / 14932 posts
@sulli301: my cousin swore that with her second (at 6 months) she was as big as she was full-term with her first!

@sorrycharlie: it's so true!! Certain times I feel normal & can still fit in all my clothes but other times all the bloat is making me look like I already have a full blown baby belly! It's crazy! I was warned lol but I didn't think it would be so true!!

I feel like I was showing around 22 weeks or so, but I didn't start regularly getting offered seats on the subway until around 30 weeks. Though in fairness, that could be down to general New York rudeness and/or too many winter clothing layers to make it obvious. Also, I'm pretty tall. Everyone I know who is shorter seems to show way earlier.
hostess / wonderful honeydew / 32460 posts
I feel like I started showing at 12 weeks. It was just fat from all the food I was chowing down.
HAHA
At 7+ weeks I look like I'm 20 weeks pregnant sometimes!
Especially after I eat

@chopsuey119: ME TOO this time around I went pee yesterday & swear my belly lost 2 inches!! It's going to be way different this pregnancy I think!!

At 8 weeks, my husband and I could tell it wasn't "the same" but no one else could. At 20 weeks, I was still hiding the bump unless I tried to show it off with really tight clothes. Between 20-24 weeks I really started showing to almost everyone. At work, people still couldn't tell until almost 30 weeks (thank you lab coat!)
There is no hiding it now (38 weeks) even with a sweatshirt.
ETA I visited NYC around 30 weeks and no one gave me a seat in the subway even though it was obvious in the clothes I was wearing at the time. Most New Yorkers don't give up their seats.

I popped at 27 weeks. Up until then, I started to look "chubby" but not necessarily pregnant, which was really annoying.
grapefruit / 4006 posts
i'm 14 weeks and there is definitely a small bump, but not noticeable to other people just yet. It just looks like my belly when i was 10 lbs heavier, but more pointy and not as spread out! fortunately i wear suits to work, so i think i can probably hide it for at least another week but my skirts are starting to get uncomfortable.
eggplant / 11287 posts
I started showing a bit at sixteen weeks but didn't need to switch to bigger clothes or maternity clothes til twenty five weeks.
eggplant / 11824 posts
I was in maternity stuff early, and by 12 weeks there was a bump that was definite baby, not food-baby or chub. My mom was quick to tell me how big I looked lol I am short with long legs and a very short torso, so I think there was nowhere for her to go but out!
kiwi / 575 posts
I'm very petite with a short torso, so I popped around 15 weeks. My baby girl has no where to go but out!
