I was told 32 weeks. Turns out I ended up have some pre term contractions at 26 weeks and was told no travelling from that point on (the flying isn't a risk in and of itself.. but doc didn't want me to have bleeding or contractions in the air and not have access to care immediately). It sucked because I had to cancel my shower at home that was planned for 29 weeks but you gotta do what you gotta do to keep baby safe. So even if your doctor says 36 weeks, I would just be open with your work that there's always a possibility that when the time comes you may not be able to go through with the trip.

My doc said 34 weeks but I probably won't fly in the 3rd trimester just to be safe.

35 weeks. I flew at 32 and 33 weeks and my doctor gave me a letter and I asked for a pat down instead of walking through the scanners.

35 weeks.

I was 30 or 32, but I was high risk.

My doctor had a cut off at week 36. We had a trip planned that put us flying back home at 36 weeks but she said it was up to us and that the airline could prevent me from boarding if they weren't comfortable with me. She said even if she wrote a note that it was okay, they would ignore her note if they wanted to. We ended up canceling just to be safe.

I had my LO at 34 weeks, so I personally wouldn't feel comfortable traveling. I wasn't high risk and didn't have any limitations set by my doctor my LO arrival was highly unexpected and I'm so glad I was at home. Funny enough, DH was set to leave for NC for a wedding the day after my water broke. I have no idea what I would have done if he would have been away. But like other people say, you have to do what you are comfortable with, that may or may not be traveling.

@jholler25: yaaaay! You don't have to go:) I was getting worried for you because even if your doctor said yes, it would still be a sucky trip. Luggage and belly...and swelling...and sweating...hecks no...
