I'm 16 weeks and just in the past couple of days have started to feel like I can stay awake past 8pm. I hope this lasts, my DH has hardly seen me the past 4 months!
When did yours go away? When will it start up again at the end?

It was around that kind of time for me and it never came back. Oh, I felt wonderful during pregnancy! Are you showing yet?

I had it all first tri, but I got some back second. Meaning I went to bed at 9:30 instead of 8 and didn't need a nap. Unfortunately it came back third tri around 30ish weeks. It was frustrating, but I just told myself my body needed it.

It went away around 15-16 weeks. My morning sickness also disappeared then.

Ooh, I'm 14 weeks, and I hope it goes away soon! I've had to put the kibosh on some late-ish movie plans, because there is simply no way I'll stay awake till 10, much less midnight!
Hoping we get our energy back soon!

I am 24 weeks and feel AWESOME! It's crazy because now I am obviously pregnant and people are tiptoe-ing around asking "how are you feeling?" and looking sympathetic. I wish I'd had that sympathy when I was falling asleep at 7pm and only able to eat cereal for dinner! I'm hoping it lasts!

@Cherrybee: yes big time. This is my bump from 2 days ago! I definitely can't hide it anymore!

@Ms.Pumpkin: fingers crossed. I'm so glad all the "bad bits" from the first trimester are over. Can't wait for the glowing pregnant lady bit to start!

At the start of the 2nd trimester my exhaustion lessened. The fatigue at the end wasn't the same intensity as the 1st trimester.

Let's see..... DD was born March of 2010 and I'm still waiting for the exhaustion to go away..... I've been tired since July of 2009

It got much, much better around 15 weeks. Hopefully it will be soon for you!

Mine got much better around 10 weeks and was gone by about 12 weeks. I did not get the third tri exhaustion everyone warns you about - I was physically exhausted and sore, but I actually had a ton of energy from about 12 weeks until the end.

Hm..maybe 15-16 weeks? I still need a nap on the weekends, but I'm not going to bed at 8 and 8:30 anymore like I used to have to!

I would say somewhere around 14-15 weeks. I still go to bed earlier than I used to but I am definitely not sleeping 8-7 anymore, it is closer to 10-7.

Right around then for me it started getting better. I haven't really had it come back yet (I'm at 37.5). I do get PHYSICALLY exhausted pretty easily the last few weeks, but that is different than the 1st trimester "I just woke up and made myself coffee and the exertion has caused me to desperately need a nap at 9:30am..."

I'm 13 months pp and still waiting! I never really got the 2nd trimester energy, but I think that's because I was having twins.

@Mrs tartan: Oh wow, you look fantastic!! This is the really lovely bit - when you're showing but you're not too huge. Enjoy it!

@Cherrybee: thank you, I am glad I've passed the "pudgy" stage. I hated looking like I'd just eaten a few extra cakes. Haha.

I got more energy in the second trimester, around 17 weeks. But honestly, it comes and goes. I am 33 weeks and still have days where I can barely function.
