My LO has had a cold for a couple of days now. She's starting to look a lot better though- poor thing was miserable 
I was very surprised that she made it to 8 months (she's 8 months today!) without a cold, especially because when she was just a few months old my whole family was sick. Guess she has a good immune system!

Probably around the same age? It was winter and she just started daycare so it was unavoidable.

@Andrea: That's the thing. It's summer and she's home with me all day, and I don't know anyone else who has a cold. But it had to happen sometime.

LO got sick when she was around 6 months old. I got sick and she caught it from me.

Aww poor LO. Hope she feels better soon.
My LO had a cold around 3 months then again around 8 months. Both times my husband had brought home a fever and baby and I ended up with a cold.
She was quite clingy for a few days but she needed lots of snuggles to get better. -
9 months with charlie right after i weaned. before 3 months with olive because she caught it from charlie!
once charlie got sick though, he was pretty much sick for 6 months straight until summer came. since summer is around the corner, hopefully this is a one time cold!

@Mrs. Bee: That's awful, poor Charlie! My mom keeps saying that when we decide to have baby #2 it'll get sick sooner because of LO. Breaks my heart but nothing you can do about it!

lo is 13 days old & has been sick with an upper respiratory infection, virus based, for the past 5 or 6 days, bless her heart. I think my husband caught something in the hospital & brought it home b/c he was sick first, then I got sick, then her, & then my mom, who stayed with us the first week. no bueno.
