Both babies don't have a ton of hair, I'm wondering when it will start growing and will need to be cut.

K had not much hair...she started growing a lot more at 1 year...but we are at 2.5 and just venturing down the path of a first hair cut...she has a crazy rat tail though

I have boys. We gave Xander his first trim probably around... 18-20 months. Just basically cutting around his ears really. He just got a more substantial haircut for the first time though at 2.5!
Logan's almost 14 months and hasn't needed anything yet!

17 months and still not a lot of hair.... If he gets a weird mullet or long ear hair, we'll see.

My oldest just had her first haircut today -- she will be 4 in April. But she was pretty bald til 1, and her hair is curly, so it just keeps curling up as it gets longer (just past her shoulders when dry, middle of her back when wet). She didn't really NEED a trim today; it was just something fun to do with her...and her ends were a little dry and tangled easily.

Almost 20 months for B because his bangs were in his eyes. Not sure when we will cut A's hair! Her bangs are getting long but I'm trying to use clips or hair bands to keep it out of her face.

T had a few haircuts by a year! Lots of hair! He's had to go every 6-8 weeks since 1!
R is a baldie. He's 13m and hasn't had one yet.

@KayKay: This so why we got LO1's hair cut. She was a little over 3 and her ends were dry and tangly. Her hair was a little past the middle of her back wet and curled up when dry so it was long but we didn't need it cut until then.

My oldest was born with a little hair, but it fell out and he was pretty much bald by 4 months. He got a trim around 20 months, but still no hair cut yet (he's 2 years 2 months),

Our kids had a lot of hair, so they got haircuts when they were a couple of months old because they needed it.

My son is almost 17 months and I'm thinking he'll need a haircut by summer. He still doesn't have long hair, but it's starting to turn into a bit of a mullet.

DS got his first haircut at a little before 2. His hair was long at that point but those blond curls were to precious to cut before that. Now he needs a cut every 6-8 weeks because his hairgrowth is insane.

DD was born with hair but a lot of it fell out by 4-5 months. Still no need for a haircut at 17 months, but the back is starting to get long while the front still hasn't really grown - she's quickly developing a baby mullet! Undecided on whether to trim the back - I don't want to cut off the curls!!

I had a baldy, she was nearly 2 when she got her first trim, and 2.5 before it was really cut.

My son's hair took a long time to grow in but I did let it go a little too long- he was 20 months old!
