@applesandbananas: DS started walking a month ago, right after he turned 15 months. He'd been cruising for several months, then would take 2-3 steps before falling down. On April 8 he walked across the room and hasn't stopped since!

Just around 9/10 months. I didn't count it until she could walk more than two steps

Started walking while holding our hand around 16 months. Did not walk on his own until 18.5 months. I was so worried at the time but now he is 2 and running and jumping like the rest of his peers.

Cruising at 9 months, independent steps at 12 months, and exclusive walking at 14 months. It was a gradual process for her.

DD's first steps were at 16.5 months, and she's standing up on her own and walking more confidently now at 17 months. She crawled at 8 and cruised at 12/13 months, so I was starting to wonder if she'd ever walk!

@Mrs. Jacks: oops! I didn't even think about that! Fixed the poll
