I threw up at a lot until about 18 weeks, but I'm 27 weeks now and haven't thrown up since! It started slowing down before then (ie I was throwing up once a week), like maybe around 13 or 14 weeks, but I flew internationally around 16 weeks and that threw me off again, so I was very sick (throwing up about once a day) from weeks 16-18. But then it stopped! I've felt slightly nauseous since but nowhere near as bad.

20 Weeks exactly. I threw up the morning I was 20 weeks and then never did again.

right around 13-14 weeks. Although I was still taking b6 and half a unisom daily. I tried quitting that at 15 weeks when I'd been feeling good for a few days and I was sick again. It took until about 20 weeks before I could stop the b6/unisom and not feel crappy.

Week 15 for my first pregnancy. It started at 13 weeks for my second and the worst was over by 23 weeks.

Ugh. Sorry to report it lasted until about 20 weeks for me too!! But after 18 weeks it wasn't as bad.

The last time that I felt truly awful was 20 weeks. Every day was better from that day.

Mine started getting noticeably better starting at 14 weeks and by about 16, I would just have moments here and there where I felt like crap but mostly felt OK. I had gotten it in my head that I would be better at 12 weeks and when I wasn't I got really pissed!
I never got that 2nd trimester burst of energy that people talk about though. Oh well-- tired beats exhausted and nauseous any day.

Never! Sorry, I know I wanted to punch people when they warned me that sometimes morning sickness never goes away, but I was one of those unfortunate people. I started throwing up about two weeks after getting my BFP, and I didn't stop until the delivery room. There are no words for how excited I was to NOT be pregnant anymore.
Fingers crossed that it doesn't turn out that way for you and that you stop feeling sick soon!

100% better by 14 weeks with DS. I'm 10 weeks currently and hoping so bad that it's the same this time.

When LO was born! I kept hoping it would stop each week, but no joy. I think I was just one of the really unlucky ones, and I think it usually subsides around 12-14wks.

Oh gosh I hope my MS subsides before I'm 18 weeks because we're planning a nice vacation, lol!

this nausea is dragging me down! Anyone else have some thoughts of depression from feeling so down?
honeydew / 7916 posts
@Claire.Peonies: Yes, I think the nausea I'm still feeling is closely linked to the depression I've been experiencing.

@spaniellove: I am sorry. I understand Did you have depression prior to pregnancy? It can be hard!
honeydew / 7916 posts
@Claire.Peonies: I've had it when I was younger but developed a lot of coping skills. Like I went through infertility without ever actually feeling depressed about it. But when pregnancy hit, the hormones and nausea made me feel so awful that I had a lot of nights where I was crying and didn't want to go on anymore. It sounds so silly but ugh, it's such an awful feeling and consumes you.
