Wondering! Mine obviously doesn't do this yet..
I should probably start brushing my teeth with her?

D started doing it really well a few months ago. But we practiced for 6 months. He would sometimes swallow the toothpaste (he said it's yummy) or he would swallow the water instead of spitting it out. Now he brushes, rinses and spits really well so we moved to fluoride toothpaste. The ONLY way he learned was watching us. We brushed our teeth with him every morning and night. It works!!

My LO recently learned how to rinse and spit about a month ago. He will be 2 next week. Before learning how to rinse and spit, he would drink the water. That progressed to letting the water dribble out of his mouth and onto his bib. We still brush his teeth for him and let him brush after we're done.
